The Russian Export Center will hold the International Export Forum "Made in Russia" on October 14. It will be held at the World Trade Center congress hall in Moscow. The central theme of the forum is the formation of a strategic landscape for foreign economic development. Registration has already started on the official website.
Africa is one of the most promising areas for the development of Russian exports, and many manufacturers are considering with interest the possibilities of entering African markets.
The present and future of Russian-African cooperation will be discussed by participants of the Made in Russia forum during the expert session "How to avoid mistakes when returning to Alkebulan," the Russian Export Center (part of VEB.RF, Russia’s national economic development institution)
said."Alkebulan - this is what the inhabitants of Africa call their continent. The name reflects the matriarchal way of life, peacefulness and ancient history of the continent. In building international economic ties today, it is especially important to take into account the national specifics of each individual state. Success depends on knowing the details - from logistics to cultural features," the statement said.
As part of the session, representatives of business and the
expert community from Russia and African countries will share their experience in building international business and discuss the socio-cultural, historical, and practical aspects of cooperation between Russia and the countries of the continent, it added.
The participants of the session will learn what trends in economic cooperation between Russia and African countries exist, how Russian businesses can find their niche in Africa, and how to find a partner, avoid scammers, and build successful interaction.
In addition, during the meeting, they
will also discuss what stereotypes the inhabitants of the continent have about Russia and how to overcome them, as well as what features of etiquette exist that will help build effective business ties.
Participation in the forum is free. Details and registration are available on the official website of the forum.
