MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The first foreign ministers’ meeting of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum will be held in the Russian southern city of Sochi from November 9-10, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.
"We ... considered a number of practical issues that are related to holding the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum following the decision of last year's summit, which was held in St. Petersburg in July. This session of the Partnership Forum will be held at the level of foreign ministers in Sochi from November 9-10," Lavrov said at a joint press conference after hosting Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty in Moscow.
During the inaugural ministerial conference, the ministers are expected to review the outcomes of the 2023 Russia-Africa summit and discuss future plans, a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik in March.
