The exhibition will run until the end of October and will be an important step not only in strengthening cultural ties between Russia and Africa but also in developing deeper and more diverse cooperation, the institutional investor said.
A unique exhibition of contemporary art called "Creating Miracles," which has become the first major project of Russian art on the African continent, will open on October 1 in the Senegalese capital Dakar, the Russian Export Center (part of VEB.RF, Russia’s national economic development institution) declared.

"The main goal of the exhibition is to introduce the world community to the work of contemporary Russian artists, to show their original style, and to emphasize the uniqueness of works created in Russia," the statement said.

According to the statement, the exhibition is organized by the Russian Novostal-M metallurgical holding with the support of the Russian Export Center and the Russian embassy in Senegal.
The event will be part of a large-scale cultural project, Days of Russia, aimed at developing a dialogue between representatives of culture and business in the two countries. The exhibition will bring together more than 20 works by 12 contemporary Russian artists, whose works explore fundamental themes of humanity - the desire for light, the struggle between good and evil, and faith in the future.
The central work will be the famous Private Moon by contemporary Russian artist Leonid Tishkov, which has been traveling the world for more than 20 years.
