Russian Security Council, emphasized the high relevance and value of this kind of interaction in the context of the radical changes taking place on the world stage.
"Thanks to collective efforts, our association will become an important instrument for ensuring a balance of interests, strengthening peace, stability, and mutual trust," noted Sergey Shoigu on the sidelines of a meeting of BRICS and BRICS+ high-ranking security officials.
Shoigu also added that the meeting will include a special session with the invited countries to discuss the issues of security and sustainable development.
