VLADIVOSTOK, Russia (Sputnik) - The Chinese-Russian relations of comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction are developing steadily, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng said on Thursday.
"Under the strategic leadership of [Chinese] President Xi Jinping and [Russian] President Vladimir Putin, the China-Russia comprehensive partnership of strategic cooperation in the new era is developing steadily," Han said during the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
Russia and China join forces and overcome all difficulties in the face of the difficult global situation, the official said, adding that China is ready to strengthen the cross-border structure, the harmonization of standards with Russia at an accelerated pace.
Additionally, Han said that China is ready to consolidate efforts with the countries of Northeast Asia and to promote peace and prosperity.
