Earlier, Burkinabe activists from the Burkina-Russia Coalition, the Pan-African Revolutionary Councils, and the African Network for Solidarity and Development released a joint statement in which they accused Ukraine of supporting international terrorism. The statement also noted that Ukraine, being a proxy force for the West, is actively recruiting Africans to fight in the war against Russia. Thus, Kiev, in partnership with the “imperialists,” is trying to “threaten African states” in order to push them “to break off relations with Russia,” explained Abdoul Rasman Sawadogo.According to him, the nations of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) must “warn NATO countries about their harmful actions.”

In early August, a Ukrainian official admitted that Ukraine was complicit in a deadly attack on the Malian army and their Russian allies in northern Mali in late July. This admission led to Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso breaking off diplomatic ties with Ukraine.
Earlier, Burkinabe activists from the Burkina-Russia Coalition, the Pan-African Revolutionary Councils, and the African Network for Solidarity and Development released a joint statement in which they accused Ukraine of supporting international terrorism. The statement also noted that
Ukraine, being a proxy force for the West, is actively recruiting Africans to fight in the war against Russia.
“You know that we have strongly requested the presence of Russia among us to counter the terrorist offensive in our territory,” reminded Sputnik Africa one of the organizers of the recent demonstration in Ouagadougou denouncing Kiev's support for terrorists in the Sahel.
Thus, Kiev, in partnership with the “imperialists,” is trying to “threaten African states” in order to push them “to break off relations with Russia,” explained Abdoul Rasman Sawadogo.
“The imperialists intend to have control over the Sahel with all the wealth that is there. And for this reason, they do not hesitate to hide in the deliveries of weapons to Ukraine to send them and finance them directly to the terrorists,” underlined the coordinator of the Black Defense League in Burkina Faso.
According to him, the nations of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) must “warn NATO countries about their harmful actions.”
“As citizens of AES, we must maintain ourselves to succeed in the fight against imperialism in all its facets,” the activist concluded.
