Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has underscored the crucial role of digital information security in Ethiopia's modernization and the safeguarding of national sovereignty. Speaking at the launch of the country's new PKI system, he emphasized the need for a robust virtual security system to support digital development.
The PKI system, which includes hardware, software, professionals, and a legal framework, will enhance digital data exchange through encryption and decryption processes using mathematical formulas and secret keys, according to local media.
