Around 200 Rwandan military personnel were fired by the country's President Paul Kagame.The dismissal, according to local media, is due to alleged embezzlement within the military apparatus.Among the officers dismissed are Martin Nzaramba, the former commander of the Nasho military training center (retired in 2023), and Etienne Uwimana, director of a department at Kanombe Military Hospital.According to the Rwandan military spokesperson, quoted by local media, Martin Nzaramba was implicated in a corruption and embezzlement case involving funds designated for soldier welfare.
