The parent company of Sputnik News, International Media Group Rossiya Segodnya, on Thursday signed an information partnership agreement with the Russian Roscongress Foundation, a major organizer of national and international conventions, exhibitions, and business, public, youth, sports, and cultural events.
The agreement between the Rossiya Segodnya Media Group and the Roscongress Foundation in the field of general information partnership allows the companies to combine and complement each other's competencies, as well as to engage in joint planning, said Dmitry Kiselev, CEO of the Rossiya Segodnya Media Group.

"In many ways, our activities with Roscongress overlap. We probably just work in different formats, but from now on we will be able to complement each other and combine our competencies. The idea of concluding an agreement on general information partnership with the foundation includes an initiative to cooperate even before the event. Not just to reflect what is done later, but to engage in joint planning, searching for common meanings and accents. And it seems to me that here we can be very useful to each other," Kiselev said during a press conference at the international multimedia press center of the media group Rossiya Segodnya.

He thanked Roscongress for its trust and emphasized that the signing of the agreement is not only a formalization of existing relations but also an inspiration for the future.
