They discussed their work and potential collaborative projects with Tanzanian partners.During the forum, Russian Naval Deputy Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Leonid Sukhanov highlighted Russia's commitment to environmental security in his address.Marine biologist Ekaterina Kalashnikova presented a unique lecture on her recent expeditions studying whales and dolphins in Tanzania.The forum also featured a wildlife photo exhibition, an ecology-themed quiz game, and the screening of Richard Magumba's film "Fahari yetu" on preserving marine biodiversity in Tanzanian waters. This forum marks the beginning of an annual series on environmental topics organized by the Russian House in collaboration with research centers from both countries.
