WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Earlier on Tuesday, State Department deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel said the United States was not engaged in any aspect of Ukraine’s military operation in the Kursk region.
US President Joe Biden said Ukraine’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk region is creating “a real dilemma.”
“I’ve spoken with my staff on a regular basis, probably every four or five hours in the last six or eight days. It's creating a real dilemma for Putin. We’ve been in direct contact, constant contact with the Ukrainians,” Biden said on Tuesday in comments on Ukraine's attack.
