Russia's hydroelectric company RusHydro has signed a number of agreements with South Sudan in the field of hydropower development and integrated water use, the company said on Thursday.The documents were prepared and signed as a follow-up to the agreements reached during the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Sudanese President Salva Kiir in late September.It is noted that RusHydro and South Sudan agreed to develop bilateral cooperation in the spheres of hydropower, water use, water disposal, geological exploration, and other areas.RusHydro is implementing 35 projects in 15 countries with a total value of more than 3 billion rubles (approximately $34.6 million) in the fields of hydropower, nuclear power, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing technologies.

Russia's hydroelectric company RusHydro has signed a number of agreements with
South Sudan in the field of hydropower development and integrated water use, the company said on Thursday.
"During the visit of the RusHydro delegation .... to South Sudan, the company signed a number of agreements in the field of hydropower development and integrated water use. On the part of South Sudan, the agreements were signed by the Ministry of Energy and Dams and the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation," the company said in a statement.
The documents were prepared and signed as a follow-up to the agreements reached during the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Sudanese President Salva Kiir in late September.
It is noted that RusHydro and South Sudan agreed to develop
bilateral cooperation in the spheres of hydropower, water use, water disposal, geological exploration, and other areas.
"The parties will implement joint projects, exchange experience and technologies, and develop the potential of human resources," the company said.
