The Sudanese Fourth Infantry Division thwarted an attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the Qali area of Al-Tadamun locality, according to the army.The division destroyed RSF combat vehicles, killed dozens of fighters, and captured others. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated the US invited both sides to join ceasefire talks, co-hosted by Saudi Arabia and including the African Union, Egypt, the UAE, and the UN.
