Resources of Mozambique, Carlos Mesquita, discussed during a working meeting the activation of cooperation between the Russian hydroelectric company RusHydro and the Mozambican government in the power industry, the Russian agency reported.
"At the meeting, they discussed issues of activating the interaction of the RusHydro Group with the government of the Republic of Mozambique, as well as state organizations and specialized companies in the electric power industry," Rosnedra said in a statement.
In February, Russian Ambassador to Mozambique Alexander Surikov said in an interview with Sputnik that the two countries have potential for cooperation in the energy and hydropower sectors.
