The imminent launch of Ethiopia's first stock exchange and its emergence as Africa's fifth-largest economy are testament to the country's economic growth, which has been spurred by sweeping reforms in critical sectors of the economy.
A new dawn of economic prosperity has begun in Ethiopia, thanks to "three critical factors" responsible for making the East African country "a fascinating success story," Dr. Eyob Tekalign Tolina, Ethiopia's State Minister of Fiscal Policy and Public Finance, reveals in an interview with Sputnik Africa.
"When you combine the right leadership, public mobilization, and well-endowed resources in different sectors, that probably would explain Ethiopia's success over the last few years," Dr. Tolina notes.
