More Than 200,000 Tonnes of Russian Grain Exported to Morocco in 2024
Rosselkhoznadzor, officially known as the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision, is a Russian state agency dedicated to overseeing veterinary medicine and agricultural production.
More than 200,000 tonnes of Russian grain were exported to Morocco in 2024, with most of the cargo consisting of wheat, announced the Russian
agricultural watchdog, which has just received a Moroccan delegation.
Since the beginning of the year, the port of Vysotsk in northwestern Russia alone has shipped 94,000 tons of grain to the kingdom, Rosselkhoznadzor said.
During its visit to Russia, the
Moroccan delegation was able to observe this process, which includes quality control and cargo safety.
The two parties agreed on bilateral cooperation, in particular in the sphere of exports, as well as on the exchange of experience in the Russian regulator's information systems.
They also discussed the prospects of signing a memorandum on the handling of pesticides and agrochemicals.
