Sputnik Gets Praises at Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia

The 24th Arab Radio and Television Festival, which brings together 20 Arab nations to showcase their best radio and television productions, is held in Tunis on June 26-29. With a dedicated technology exhibition showcasing the latest technological advances in the audiovisual industry, the event promises to be a vibrant display of creativity.
The delegation of the international news agency Sputnik held a number of meetings at the 24th edition of the festival in the Tunisian capital.
A Sputnik representative met with the director of the Yemen Today channel, Abdul Wali Al-Madhabi. The meeting focused on the development of cooperation in various fields and the exchange of experience, content, and programs.
Al-Madhabi expressed his gratitude to Sputnik for "a very fruitful cooperation between us," of which he said he was "proud."
Sputnik journalists also had an interview with Sayoud Salah, the deputy general director in charge of communications and international relations at Algerian Radio. All possible forms of cooperation in various fields, including culture and the exchange of international news content, were on the agenda, the representative said.
In the interview with Akar Slim, general director of the Algerian international channel NEWS24, the importance of raising the level of media cooperation in line with political orientations was noted. It is also necessary to develop a cooperation plan that includes the exchange of information and visual, written, and audio content, as well as the exchange of correspondents.
Slim also thanked Sputnik website, which "has risen in several fields, including international politics, culture, and international media exchanges."

According to the participants, a long meeting was held with representatives of the Media Production City of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The meeting focused on the need to adjust the horizon of cooperation in order to serve the expansion of Sputnik's presence in North Africa, particularly in Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia, as well as in the Middle East region.
The delegation from Sputnik's Moscow office met with representatives of the multinational company Total Media Cast, which operates in a nine-country zone between China, Iraq, Turkey, and all Latin American countries.
The holding expressed its readiness to intensify cooperation with Sputnik in the field of content promotion and provision of information services, as well as to provide it with engineering, live broadcasting, and promotion services on social networks.
Meetings were also held with representatives of the Arab entertainment company Rotana Group in order to organize broad cooperation in all the previously mentioned areas, including the exchange of information, photos, videos, and archives.
