Putin Deeply Sympathizes With Families of Victims of Events in Sevastopol & Dagestan: Kremlin

On Sunday, a beach in the Russian city of Sevastopol was subjected to a Ukrainian attack with US-made ATACMS missiles with cluster warheads. The same day, a synagogue and a church in Derbent, located in the Russian region of Dagestan, and a traffic police post and religious objects in Makhachkala, Dagestan's capital, came under a terrorist attack.
Russian President Vladimir Putin deeply sympathizes with the families of the victims of the events in the Russian city of Sevastopol and the country's region of Dagestan. Assistance will be provided to all the injured, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
On Sunday, Putin constantly received reports and gave instructions in connection with the events in both regions, he said.
Russia fully understands who is behind the barbaric missile attack on Sevastopol, Peskov noted, adding that the US involvement in hostilities that led to the deaths of Russian civilians will definitely have consequences.

At least five people, including three children, were killed as a result of the Ukrainian attack on Sevastopol, with over 120 people injured, according to authorities.
In connection with Kiev's attack, which was carried out with US-made missiles, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a demarche to the US ambassador to Russia.
Russia has received no telegrams of condolence from unfriendly countries, nor have there been any words of condemnation from their side about what happened in Dagestan, the spokesman highlighted.
In Dagestan, Sunday's terrorist attacks left more than 15 policemen and several civilians dead; six militants were eliminated, a Sputnik source said.
