Earlier in June, Dangote Refinery, Nigeria's biggest oil refinery, started exporting jet fuel to Europe as part of its strategy to grow its presence in the continental oil market.
Production at the Nigerian energy company Aiteo's Nembe field resumes after leakage repair, the media reported.
The leakage at the nearly 50,000 barrels per day field, located in the country's southern Bayelsa state, was reported on Monday during routine operations, the Nigerian company said.
"Our dedicated team has worked diligently to address the issues caused by the recent incident and implemented enhanced safety protocols to prevent future occurrences," Aiteo was quoted as saying.
