The official welcoming ceremony for the Russian leader is scheduled for Wednesday, and the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) is ready for a warm welcome, a Sputnik correspondent reported.There are large portraits of Putin and the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, on the central podium of the largest city square, Kim Il Sung. It is decorated with the national flags of the two countries. Other buildings on the square are also decorated with the Russian tricolor, the flags of the DPRK, and welcoming inscriptions in Russian and Korean.
