The II International Forum of Ministers of Education "Shaping the Future" takes place on June 10-11 in Russia's Kazan. It brought together representatives of 46 delegations from 39 countries, including those from African countries.
The
Republic of Congo gets inspired by Russian experience in the field of education, inspector general of the Congolese Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education
David Anga told
Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the II International Forum of Ministers of Education in Russia’s Kazan.
“We draw a lot of inspiration from the Russian experience. And above all, [it’s] the artificial intelligence that we want to develop at home. […] Russians are open [to sharing experience]. They give you all the secrets of science. It's not like other countries,” he said.
The official also recalled the country’s long tradition in the educational area.
“Russia is a country which has a long tradition in technical and vocational education, which has also trained many Congolese executives. I myself was also educated here in Russia,” he added.
Furthermore, Anga reckoned that more and more Africans should
study Russian to be able to adopt this extensive experience and develop their own countries.
The II International Forum of Ministers of Education is organized by the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Foundation for the Support of Humanitarian Sciences, "My History."
