Uralchem is one of the largest mineral fertilizer companies in Russia and Eastern Europe. Its assets include Uralkali, the world's largest potash fertilizer producer, and it controls Tolyattiasot, Russia's largest ammonia producer and one of the leading urea producers.
Russia's giant fertilizer producer Uralchem intends to increase fertilizer deliveries to Southeast Asia and Africa this year, seeing positive dynamics in both sales and consumption this year, the company's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dimitry Tatyanin, told Sputnik on the sidelines of the ongoing St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"Traditionally, three-quarters of the potash we produce is exported. As for the nitrogen group, more than half goes to the domestic market. If we talk about geography, this year we expect to increase deliveries to Southeast Asia and Africa," he said.
