In an interview on the sidelines of SPIEF-2024, Hussein Awad Ali Mohmed gave an update on negotiations on the creation of a Russian naval base in his country.
"It is one of the agenda on the table under discussion. Not yet finalized, but it is under discussion. We are going to talk lengthily with all the organizations and governments here in Russia and in Sudan, Port Sudan. So we are going to reach some sort of understanding of this issue because it is based on a win-win game," he told Sputnik Africa.
