“Strategic cooperation” must be established between Guinea-Bissau, Russia, and China, Guinea-Bissau's Minister of Natural Resources told Sputnik Africa.
The statement was made by Malam Sambu, Minister of Natural Resources, on the sidelines of SPIEF-2024.
According to him, these two countries can "really" help Guinea-Bissau to develop. He also spoke of the aid given to Africa by Russia and China, pointing out that they had experienced “almost the same history as Africa.”
The official then went on to say that Bissau must not allow other foreign states to "exploit what we have as our resource."
