On Friday, on the territory of the memorial complex Poklonnaya Hill, there was a tour for representatives of the diplomatic corps in Moscow to the exhibition of trophy Western weapons and equipment captured on the battlefield of the Ukrainian conflict.
It was surprising to see the amount of weapons and military equipment delivered to the Ukrainian armed forces to fight Russia during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, said Zoheir Sabaghpour, advisor to the president of Tehran Disaster Mitigation and Management Organization and director of the international affairs department, during a tour of the Poklonnaya Hill memorial complex in Moscow.
"It was very surprising, for this all equipment that is used against Russia from many, many different countries, from many western countries that are helping Ukraine in front of Russia," Sabaghpour told Sputnik Africa during the tour, where representatives of the diplomatic community in Moscow were shown Western weapons and equipment captured in the Ukrainian conflict zone.
For his part, Ayeh Nana Asafo-Adjei, the Director of International Relations for the National Disaster Management Program in Ghana, said the exhibition proved "Russia's advancement" in the field of defense and "the advanced technologies they have."

"I think that, undoubtedly, Russia leads in civil defense. That's why Ghana, for all these while, has been in partnership with them, coming here frequently," Asafo-Adjei told Sputnik Africa.

The Ghanaian official added that he does not rule out a military partnership in the future in terms of technology and knowledge transfer, given the "very good" and longstanding diplomatic relations between the two countries.
On May 1, a month-long exhibition of captured Western trophy weapons and military equipment opened in Pobedy (Victory) Park on Poklonnaya Hill in the western part of the Russian capital, Moscow. The exhibition allows visitors to see more than 30 samples of equipment from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Turkey, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Austria and Ukraine.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for quite some time. According to Russian officials, the West is more interested in ensuring Russia's defeat in Ukraine than in achieving peace in the region. NATO is helping Ukraine against Russia by supplying weapons and all kinds of technical support.
