The new government members took their oaths before the president, Kais Saied, with Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani in attendance.
Tunisian President Kais Saied announced a partial cabinet reshuffle on Saturday, involving the ministries responsible for the interior and social affairs of the country.
According to the statement, the president has appointed the governor of Ariana Province, Khaled Nouri, as Minister of the Interior, succeeding Kamel Feki, who only served one year as minister from 2023 to 2024.

Prior to that, Feki was the governor of the country's capital, Tunis, and was known as a close supporter of the head of state.
The former CEO of the National Health Insurance Fund, Kamel Al Madouri, has been delegated to take the place of the Minister of Social Affairs, thus replacing Malek Ezzahi.

The latter joined the ministerial cabinet in November 2021 and was a longtime minister within President Kais Saied's administration.
Moreover, Sofien Ben Sadok, a magistrate and member of the monitoring committee for the technical telecommunications agency under the Ministry of Communication Technologies, has been named the new Secretary of State for the Interior Ministry.

According to the president's statement, the new position in the cabinet will be dedicated to matters of national security; however, no details were immediately provided.
The government's announcement, however, did not include the reasons for the sudden dismissal of the ministers.
