MOSCOW (Sputnik) - In May 2023, the Russian Federal Security Service said that Ukrainian military intelligence officer Roman Mashovets was the organizer of terrorist attacks and the coordinator of preparations for the assassinations of high-ranking officials in Crimea.
The Russian Interior Ministry has put Deputy Head of the Office of the president of Ukraine Roman Mashovets on the wanted list.
"Roman Vasyliovych Mashovets, August 6, 1976. Wanted under an article of the Criminal Code," according to an entry in the database of the Russian Interior Ministry.
He has held the position of deputy head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office since April 2020.
