The Moscow Victory Day Parade is an annual ceremony commemorating the surrender of Nazi Germany to the Red Army, marking the end of fighting on the Eastern Front during World War II, known in Russia as the Great Patriotic War.
President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló will come to Russia and take part in the Victory Day parade on May 9, Guinea-Bissau's embassy in Moscow told Russian media.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that more than 9,000 people and 75 units of military equipment, as well as aviation, will take part in the parade on Red Square in Moscow.
