Burkina Faso's delegation will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, it will include the country's Minister of Economy and Finance Aboubacar Nakanabo, as well as the Minister of Public Service, Labor and Social Protection Bazie Bassolma, Aristide Rapougdondba Ludovic Tapsoba, the country's ambassador in Moscow told Sputnik.At the end of March, a delegation from Burkina Faso participated for the first time in the International Forum on Nuclear Energy, held in Russia's Sirius territory on the Black Sea coast.Following the forum, the Russian state corporation Rosatom signed roadmaps for the development of nuclear energy cooperation with Burkina Faso and other countries.Also last month, Burkina Faso's Minister of Energy, Mines and Quarries Yacouba Zabré Gouba told Sputnik Africa that his country is open to Russian investors interested in mining gold and other minerals.Following the last SPIEF, which was held on June 14-17 last year, more than 900 contracts were signed with a total value of 3.8 trillion rubles ($41 billion).The event was attended by 17,000 participants from 130 countries with delegations from India, UAE and China, including 150 companies from 25 "unfriendly" countries.

12:04 08.04.2024 (Updated: 12:19 08.04.2024) This year's St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be held on June 5-8 in Russia's cultural capital, organized by the Roscongress Foundation. The regular event in the business world typically features many discussions on topics ranging from trade and economics to space exploration.
Burkina Faso's delegation will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, it will include the country's Minister of Economy and Finance Aboubacar Nakanabo, as well as the Minister of Public Service, Labor and Social Protection Bazie Bassolma, Aristide Rapougdondba Ludovic Tapsoba, the country's ambassador in Moscow told Sputnik.
"We have people who are already preparing to come to SPIEF. The Minister of Economy and Finance and the Minister of Labor will come," the ambassador said, adding that he would also visit the forum site.
At the end of March,
