Atomexpo-2024: Largest International Nuclear Energy Forum Kicks Off in Southern Russia

Russian giant Rosatom, a recognized world leader in nuclear technology, welcomes partners to the forum. Taking place March 25-26 in Russia's Sirius region on the Black Sea coast, the event has set a record for the number of participating countries.
It brings together senior officials from 75 countries, including Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Iraq, which are attending Atomexpo for the first time.
The CEO of Rwanda's Atomic Energy Authority is also attending the event, and other distinguished guests include Hungary's head of diplomacy, Peter Szijjártó.
The Forum has been held in Russia since 2009. Participants include leaders of key companies in the global nuclear industry, government agencies, international and public organizations, and leading experts.
More than 49,000 delegates and guests from 89 countries have visited the Forum since its inception, and more than 55,000 agreements have been signed with a total value of more than $63 billion.
