A shooting occurred on Friday in Russia's Crocus City Hall concert venue just outside Moscow to the northwest, followed by a massive fire. At least 93 people died as a result of the terrorist attack, according to the Russian Investigative Committee.
Director of the Federal Security Service of Russia Alexander Bortnikov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the detention of 11 people, including four terrorists who carried out a terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall, the Kremlin press service said.
"FSB Director Bortnikov reported to Putin on the detention of 11 people, all four terrorists directly involved in carrying out the attack," the Kremlin said.
The Kremlin added that further work is underway to identify the base of the accomplices as part of the investigation into the terrorist attack.
Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall will not go unpunished.
"The crime committed is yet another confirmation that terrorism is a significant security threat that requires the maximum coordinated efforts of all citizens, special services, law enforcement agencies and authorities at all levels to prevent terrorist activities," he added.

Patrushev also described the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall as "horrific," he expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
"My deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the horrific terrorist attack in the Moscow Region. I wish the injured a speedy recovery," Patrushev added.
The FSB said on Friday night that the shooting and fire occurred before the concert at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow.
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that 115 people had been hospitalized, including five children, while 60 adults and one child are in serious condition. A criminal case has been opened over the terrorist attack.
A Sputnik correspondent who witnessed the incident said that at least three men disguised in camouflage and without masks burst into the hall through the first floor, shooting people at close range and throwing incendiary bombs.
