BUDAPEST (Sputnik) - Western countries may decide to send troops to Ukraine in two to three months, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday.
"The most alarming thing is that what was unimaginable two or three months ago becomes an everyday event two or three months later. I remember when the Germans said that they were not ready to send deadly weapons to Ukraine, we would rather send equipment, helmets ... And now they say that Germany should transfer to Ukraine missile systems that can be used to strike as far as Moscow or, at least, far into Russia," Orban told the Kossuth Radio when asked about the possible dispatch of Western troops in Ukraine.
What is now absurd and impossible to believe will become reality in two or three months, the official said.

Paris Preparing to Deploy French Troops to Ukraine, Russian Foreign Intelligence Chief Says
After a conference on Ukraine hosted by Paris on February 26, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that while there was no agreement among Western leaders regarding the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, nothing was completely off the table. Several EU nations quickly disregarded these plans.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, some of the nations that attended the Paris meeting on Ukraine had made a "wise assessment" of the risks associated with engaging in hostilities with Russia. Russia had taken note of Macron's remarks.
