The Multipolarity Forum took place on Monday in Moscow, Russia, with participants from all over the world discussing issues of a multipolar world order, dialogue of cultures and civilizations, protection of traditional values, opposition to Western hegemony, cancel culture, and the persistently promoted destruction of the institution of family.
Western countries are opposed to the establishment of a new multipolar world because it threatens their exclusive benefits, pan-African activist and businesswoman Nathalie Yamb told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the Multipolarity Forum in Moscow.

"The world as they conceived it after the Second World War is a world that benefits them exclusively. So anything that could challenge this dominance, this control of the West over the world, they will oppose with the utmost energy," Yamb argued.

However, this world order is "collapsing" and now it's time to think of the way the global community can organize a new order that could be free of such "flaws," the activist added.
"The question is to think carefully about how to create a new world that will not fall into the same flaws as the world that was designed at the end of the Second World War," Yamb said.
As the Western world order is falling apart, the "South is taking back the initiative," according to the businesswoman.

"We have witnessed with South Africa that it is the South that initiates trials with judicial and international institutions that were usually manipulated and instrumentalized by the West. There, we saw a BRICS country, a country of the Global South, bring a protected country of the West to court – to protect populations of the Global South," Yamb told Sputnik Africa.

The UN International Court of Justice issued provisional orders on January 26 for Israel to prevent genocide in Gaza and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the enclave, following South Africa's complaint over Israel's military actions in Gaza.
