VOLGOGRAD (Sputnik) - Earlier in January, four oil product tanks caught fire in the Russian town of Klintsy in southern Russia, leading to the evacuation of 32 people from homes in the area.

A fire broke out at the Volgograd oil refinery after the fall of a downed drone, no casualties were reported, Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov said.

"This night, air defense and electronic warfare systems repelled a drone attack on the territory of the Volgograd Region... As a result of the fall of the downed unmanned aerial vehicle, a fire broke out at the Volgograd oil refinery," the regional administration quoted Bocharov as saying in its Telegram channel.
