Humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Angola is one of the aspects of the strategic partnership between the two countries. At the 2nd Russia-Africa Summit in 2023, Moscow and African states, including Angola, agreed to strengthen ties in the humanitarian sphere, including in the areas of health, education, culture, sports, tourism and youth.
Russia's humanitarian cooperation agency Rossotrudnichestvo hopes to open the Russian House in Angola in 2024 if funding is found and an agreement is signed, the agency's head Yevgeny Primakov told Sputnik.

"We hope that this year we will be able to conclude an agreement with Angola, and if we find funding, we will open there," he told Sputnik.

Cultural cooperation between Africa and Russia has a long history, and the countries continue to promote new joint projects.
