The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has announced that Burundi's economy is expected to grow by 4.3% in 2024, a notable increase from the 2.7% growth in 2023. The IMF highlighted that at the end of last year, Burundi's foreign exchange reserves stood at $96.4 million, equivalent to 0.8 months of import cover, with the country later experiencing some relief.
