The price of a pound of uranium on the spot market reached $100 on January 18, a level not seen since 2007, reports say. This comes shortly after Kazakhstan announced the decline of the production of this metal in 2024.
According to the Ecofin Pro platform, these African producers could benefit from the rise in uranium prices, which reportedly reached $100 on January 18:
Namibia;
Niger;
South Africa;
Malawi;
Mauritania.
