Earlier, Kenya's State House Spokesperson, Hussein Mohammed, said that the Kenyan authorities intend to send up to 10,000 citizens to Russia for further employment.
Kenyans will be able to work in Russia in the field of logistics, construction and manufacturing, a Russian entrepreneur, Mikhail Lyapin, told media.
In order to attract workers from Kenya, Russia created a project in the country, which involves "recruitment, Russian language training and adaptation courses on a single educational platform for migrants with subsequent employment in a company," Lyapin revealed.
"Kenya is the first project in which it is planned to get the results of the work, optimize the processes, and then expand the geography to other African countries," Lyapin said.
Workers from Kenya could be in demand in technical specialties and in the field of medicine, Galina Krumkacheva, Director of the Agency of Russian Universities in Kenya KenRus Medics added.

She also noted that Kenyan citizens who completed their education in Russian universities continue to work successfully in various fields.
"One of the graduates of a Russian medical university, for example, became the head of a hospital in the south-west of Moscow, another one works in a bank in a senior position," Krumkacheva said.
She added that there are 1,600 graduates of Russian universities among doctors in Kenya, and cooperation in the field of education began in the Soviet Union. The first president of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta, and the current leader of the opposition, Raila Odinga, received Soviet education.
In addition, Kenyans will be able to find jobs as English language teachers in Russian schools, the director stressed.
According to the State House Spokesperson of Kenya, the Kenyan authorities have plans to dispatch around 10,000 citizens to Russia for additional employment opportunities.
