The West is behind the opposition protests in Serbia against the results of the December 17 elections, Alexander Vulin, the former head of the Serbian Security and Information Agency (BIA), told Sputnik. Late Sunday night, police dispersed the protesters in front of the City Assembly in Belgrade within minutes, clearing the square and setting up a cordon. BELGRADE (Sputnik) - On Sunday, supporters of the Serbian opposition, who disagree with the results of the recent snap elections, surrounded the National Assembly in the capital Belgrade, climbing the stairs and trying to break down the doors.

Serbia against the results of the December 17 elections, Alexander Vulin, the former head of the Serbian Security and Information Agency (BIA), told Sputnik.
"This is not about my personal opinion, I know for sure that the West is behind the violent protests in Serbia. In the days before the elections, representatives of the pro-NATO opposition informed Western diplomats that they would not recognize the results of the vote, and they approved," Vulin said, adding that a revolution was planned according to the Belarusian scenario.
