The Republic of the Congo remains committed to OPEC, said Congolese Minister of Hydrocarbons, Bruno Jean-Richard Itoua, a few days after Angola
announced its withdrawal from the oil producers' organization.
"The Republic of Congo reaffirms its steadfast commitment to the strategic policy defined by the Secretary-General of OPEC and OPEC+. We strongly support the efforts to stabilize and promote sustainable development of the oil markets, a crucial approach for the future of our sector and the global economy," Jean-Richard Itoua noted in a statement.
He added that the nation highlights "the remarkable harmony" prevailing among the members of the OPEC and OPEC+ Ministerial Conference.
Nigeria also reaffirmed its commitment to
