Fantastic Russian Combat Monsters: Who Are They & Where to Find Them?

Rocket scolopendra, Volgatitan dinosaur, sky whale — these and other fantastic images of the Russian state corporation Rostec, which produces almost 90% of the equipment involved in the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, came up with for its weapons.
Rostec showed what Russian military equipment could look like if the weapons were the heroes of myths.
The heroes for the series of images were chosen by voting, and then the designers turned the samples of military equipment into combat monsters. Thus, the Mi-28N helicopter, nicknamed the "Night Hunter", became a bat, the Msta-S howitzer turned into a wild boar, and the Tornado-S MLRS — into a Volgatitan dinosaur.
The corporation explained that the purpose of creating such a series of images was to show the "the formidable essence of Russian weapons".
"For a tanker or pilot, their combat vehicle is almost like a living thing. [...] Therefore, we made combat vehicles "alive" to show their character with the help of metaphorical images, to demonstrate the formidable essence of Russian weapons," Rostec said.
