MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The resumed high-level segment of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) will take place in Dubai on Saturday.
Heads of state or government as well as representatives of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations who did not deliver their national statements during the first part of the UN climate conference's high-level segment from December 1-2 will be able to do so on Saturday.
COP28 is a UN conference devoted to climate change, taking place in the UAE. It got underway on November 30 and will end on December 12.
World leaders, international organizations, and interested parties come together at the summit to negotiate and work together to combat the climate crisis. It is anticipated to bring together more than 70,000 attendees.
In compliance with the Paris Climate Agreement, COP28 is presenting the first ever Global Stocktake — an extensive assessment of advancements made toward climate goals.
