These talks focused on relations between Moroccan and Colombian Houses of Representatives, the importance of strengthening bilateral and multilateral parliamentary relations, as well as the exchange and sharing of experiences and expertise.During this meeting, both parties also called for strengthening parliamentary consultation and coordination within the framework of mutual respect for territorial integrity and State sovereignty, in accordance with the motion adopted by the Colombian Senate on November 27, 2023 affirming Morocco’s unity and sovereignty over its entire territory.Reviewing the Moroccan and Colombian parliamentary experience, the two parties tackled a number of regional and international issues of common interest, in addition to the prospects for bilateral and multilateral parliamentary cooperation to reflect the deep relations between the two countries while consolidating South-South parliamentary coordination that serves bilateral and common interests.
