In late August, the head of the surgical department of the separate medical battalion of the 58th Army of the Russian Armed Forces said that the Ukrainian military used phosphorus in the Zaporozhye direction. The use of phosphorus shells is prohibited by the Geneva Convention.
Russia has undeniable evidence of US complicity in the supply of toxic chemicals to Ukraine, the head of the Russian delegation to the session of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Kirill Lysogorsky said at the 28th session of the OPCW Conference of Member States.

"We inform the States parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) that we have indisputable evidence of the participation of the United States and its North Atlantic allies in the supply of toxic scheduled and non-scheduled chemicals to Ukraine, as well as means of their delivery," Lysogorsky said.

He added that such toxic chemicals, including riot control agents, are transferred to the Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries fighting on the side of the Kiev regime.

The deputy minister also disclosed that Russia has information about the use of toxic chemicals by agents of Kiev's special services against the leadership of the Russian newly accepted regions.
"We have information about the use of toxic chemicals and psychotropic substances by agents of the special services of the Kiev regime against the leadership of new entities that have become part of Russia," he said.
The 28th session of the OPCW Conference of States Parties is being held in The Hague from November 27 to December 1.
Phosphorus ammunition, which is prohibited by the Geneva Convention, was used by the Ukrainian military in the Zaporozhye direction, according to the head of the surgical department of the separate medical battalion of the 58th Army of the Russian Armed Forces. The use of the white phosphorus is also addressed by the CWC.
