The United States cannot threaten Iran even in the midst of the conflict in Gaza, as Tehran is "at the height of power" and is prepared for any possible course of events, Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Senior Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh said on Monday. In October, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Washington had contacted Tehran several times to prevent the latter from intervening in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Iran is in no position to be threatened by enemies, it is "at the height of [its] power and we have prepared ourselves for any eventuality," the IRGC senior commander added. The conflict has already spread to Lebanon, which has been exchanging airstrikes with Israel, and may further expand, Hajizadeh said, adding that Iran is ready for any possible scenario. On October 7, Palestinian group Hamas launched a surprise large-scale rocket attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip and breached the border, killing and abducting people in neighboring Israeli communities. Israel launched retaliatory strikes and ordered a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip, cutting off supplies of water, food, and fuel. On October 27, Israel launched a large-scale ground incursion inside the Gaza Strip with the declared goal of eliminating Hamas fighters and rescuing the hostages. The escalation of the conflict has resulted in the deaths of around 1,400 people in Israel and over 11,000 in the Gaza Strip.

Iran at 'Height of Power,' Not Threatened by US: Armed Forces Senior Commander
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza that began in early October has also raised the risk of a wider regional conflagration, amid fears that Iran or the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah could enter the fray.
The United States cannot threaten Iran even in the midst of the conflict in Gaza, as Tehran is "at the height of power" and is prepared for any possible course of events, Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Senior Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh said on Monday.
In October, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Washington had contacted Tehran several times to prevent the latter from intervening in the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict.
The Americans do not threaten Iran […] they sent correspondences to Iran three times in a single night and the wording of all these correspondences contained requests and begging," Hajizadeh was quoted as saying by official IRNA news agency.
Iran is in no position to be threatened by enemies, it is "at the height of [its] power and we have prepared ourselves for any eventuality," the
IRGC senior commander added.
The conflict has already spread to Lebanon, which has been exchanging airstrikes with Israel, and may further
expand, Hajizadeh said, adding that Iran is ready for any possible scenario.
