Such measures are the result of the NGOs' claims about an increase in "hate crimes" in the regions, Scallan wrote, adding that the endgame of the claims is to promote legislation which will "restrict freedom" and "make it easier to secure prosecutions and convictions."

“He is doing things that erode the fabric of civilization. Getting DAs elected who refused to prosecute crime, that’s part of the problem in San Francisco and LA and other cities, so why would you do that?,” Musk told Rogan on Tuesday.
