12:21 08.10.2023 (Updated: 16:50 09.10.2023) CAIRO (Sputnik) - An Egyptian police officer shot dead two Israeli tourists and one Egyptian in the northern Egyptian city of Alexandria, the Sada el-Balad broadcaster reported on Sunday, citing a security source.
Another Egyptian was reportedly injured. The policeman was detained, the source said.
Later, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the deaths of two tourists, adding that along with them a local resident was killed.
"In addition, there is a wounded Israeli in moderate condition," the ministry said.
