The Russian House in Armenia (representative office of Russian cooperation agency Rossotrudnichestvo) has handed over another batch of humanitarian aid to displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh, the office said in a statement.The decades-long conflict over the Armenian-majority breakaway state of Nagorno-Karabakh, located in Azerbaijan, reignited in the fall of 2020, marking the worst escalation since the 1990s. Hostilities ended in a Russia-brokered ceasefire and the deployment of Russian peacekeepers to the region.On September 19, Baku launched what it called "local anti-terrorist activities" in Nagorno-Karabakh aimed at "restoring the constitutional order." At a meeting mediated by Russian peacekeepers the following day, Azerbaijan and representatives of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh agreed on a complete cessation of hostilities. The president of the self-proclaimed Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, or Artsakh, subsequently signed a decree to dissolve all institutions of the breakaway state by January 1, bringing its existence to an end. This has prompted a mass displacement of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, with over 100,000 of Nagorno-Karabakh's estimated 120,000 Armenian population relocated to date.

The Russian House in Armenia (representative office of Russian cooperation agency Rossotrudnichestvo) has handed over another batch of humanitarian aid to
displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh, the office said in a statement.
“The Russian House team delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to Syunik. Deputy head of the organization Viktoria Deripasko took part in the distribution of assistance. About 1,000 kg were delivered to border villages: blankets, bed linen, food, household chemicals, toys and hygiene products for adults and children," the office said on Telegram.
