Russian & Tunisian Foreign Ministers Meet in Moscow to Discuss Grain Supplies, Cooperation

On September 26, Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar arrived in Moscow for a two-day working visit at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. According to the North African republic's Foreign Ministry, one of the key issues of the talks will be the supply of grain.

The Tunisian ministry indicated that Ammar's visit to Moscow demonstrates the common desire of the two countries to strengthen relations and bilateral cooperation. Among other things, the talks will focus on the African Peace Initiative to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, as well as international efforts to revive the Black Sea grain deal.
