UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) - Sierra Leone has begun discussions with Moscow on matters related to imports of Russian fertilizer, Sierra Leonean Foreign Minister Timothy Kabba told Sputnik on the margins of the UN General Assembly.
Foreign Minister of Sierra Leone said that the country has started conversations with the Russian counterparts and is going to deepen the relationship concerning the issue of fertilizers.
Kabba added that he will visit Moscow at the end of the year to further discuss how Russian fertilizer, including Russian seeds, beans, and technology, can be imported.
In August, Sierra Leone's Ambassador to Russia Mohamed Yongawo said Freetown would like to receive Russian fertilizers, but not necessarily free of charge.
